Sluggers Membership1. Parties and enrolled athlete
This Membership Agreement is between the parent or legal guardian completing enrollment (the “Buyer”) and Create Your Own Journey Foundation, operator of CYOJ Hit Lab (“CYOJ”). It provides membership benefits for one active Salem Sluggers Fastpitch player identified during Stripe checkout (the “Athlete”). The membership and its benefits are personal to the Athlete and may not be transferred or shared.
2. Membership services
The membership includes the following individual benefits in addition to separately scheduled Salem Sluggers team practices:
- Up to 60 minutes of batting cage time each day, by reservation and subject to availability.
- Access to HitTrax and Rapsodo Pro 2.0 during eligible training sessions.
- Up to 15 minutes of Junior Hack Attack access per session, subject to equipment availability and staff direction.
- 15% off eligible additional same-day cage time, private lessons, skills camps, and clinics.
- 10% off eligible Pro Shop merchandise.
- No membership setup fee.
Reservations, technology, machines, discounts, and facility access are subject to availability, posted operating procedures, and the Facility Rules. Discounts may not be combined with another offer unless CYOJ states otherwise.
3. Team practices are separate
Salem Sluggers controls its team-practice schedule, attendance expectations, coaching, and roster decisions. This individual membership does not guarantee a particular number, date, or duration of team practices. Team-practice scheduling does not change the individual membership payment schedule.
4. Initial term and access
The initial membership term runs from September 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. Individual access begins no earlier than September 1, 2026 and only after the first payment is confirmed and the Athlete has a current CYOJ Hit Lab Athlete Waiver on file.
5. Initial commitment and payment options
The initial commitment is $800. The Buyer selects one of these options during enrollment:
- Installment option: $80 charged immediately, followed by nine $80 automatic installments on October 1, November 1, December 1, January 1, February 1, March 1, April 1, May 1, and June 1.
- Initial term paid in full: one $800 charge immediately, with no additional initial-term installments.
Except for cancellation and refund rights required by applicable law, the full $800 initial commitment remains due. Leaving Salem Sluggers, missing reservations or practices, or choosing not to use the facility does not automatically cancel the agreement or remaining payment obligation.
6. Automatic renewal
Beginning July 1, 2027, this membership automatically continues at $80 per month and the payment method selected during checkout will be charged monthly until the membership is canceled.
To prevent the July 1, 2027 renewal charge, CYOJ must receive written cancellation notice by June 1, 2027. After renewal begins, cancellation becomes effective 30 days after CYOJ receives written notice. Charges scheduled before the cancellation effective date may still be processed, and membership access continues through the end of the last paid billing period.

7. Payment authorization
By accepting this agreement and completing Stripe checkout, the Buyer authorizes CYOJ and Stripe to charge the selected payment method for the initial payment, scheduled installments, automatic monthly renewals, and any permitted amounts described in this agreement. Available payment methods are determined by Stripe. Bank-account payments may take several business days to confirm and are also governed by the ACH mandate presented by Stripe.
If a payment fails, CYOJ or Stripe may retry the payment and contact the Buyer. CYOJ may pause individual membership access while an amount is past due, subject to applicable law.
Membership fees purchase services and access. They are not represented as charitable contributions or tax-deductible donations.
8. Other cancellation and refund rights
Nothing in this agreement limits a cancellation or refund right that cannot legally be waived. To the extent Oregon’s health-spa contract requirements apply, cancellation may also be available for death or qualifying physical inability, facility closure, qualifying relocation, failure to complete represented facilities or improvements, or a material change to promised services. Any legally required refund will be calculated and issued as required by applicable law.
BUYER’S RIGHT TO CANCEL
If you wish to cancel this contract without penalty, you may cancel by delivering or mailing written notice to CYOJ Hit Lab. The notice must state that you do not wish to be bound by the contract and must be delivered or mailed before midnight of the third business day after you accept this agreement.

9. Facility rules and athlete waiver
The Buyer acknowledges receipt of the Facility Rules and agrees that the Athlete will follow them, all posted safety requirements, and reasonable staff instructions. The Athlete must have a current separate waiver on file before using CYOJ facilities or equipment. The waiver and this Membership Agreement serve different purposes; accepting one does not replace the other.
10. Electronic acceptance and records
Checking the agreement box and continuing to Stripe constitutes the Buyer’s electronic acceptance and authorization. CYOJ may retain the agreement version, acceptance date and time, selected payment option, Stripe transaction records, and parent and Athlete information needed to administer the membership. The Buyer should save or print this agreement for their records.
11. Applicable law and contact
Oregon law governs this agreement. If any term conflicts with a non-waivable legal right, that right controls and the remaining terms continue to apply.
